Your shop's settings, team and billing
The pages you set once and come back to rarely: your shop's details, who can run it, what you pay, and a record of who changed what.
General settings
Under Settings → General:
- Shop name, as customers see it.
- Reply-to address: where customers' replies to your order confirmations and announcements go. Leave it blank to use your sign-in email.
- Shop URL: your address on Pekkish. Changing it breaks links and QR codes you've already shared, so it can only be changed once every 30 days.
- Linked shop: if you run a lunch shop and a catering shop, link the two so each storefront points customers to the other once both are live. Each is its own shop with the same sign-in (see Catering).
- Invoices, for shops that invoice organisations: the address and footer (bank details, VAT number) printed on every invoice, whether you're VAT registered, and your default payment terms.
- Custom domain (Pro plan): serve your storefront from your own domain. See Sharing your storefront link.
Press Save settings.
At the bottom are Pause my shop and Close my shop. Pausing takes your storefront down to a holding page and takes no orders until you switch it back on; your menu, customers and subscription are untouched. For a holiday, close the days instead (see Going on holiday). Closing is for leaving Pekkish: the storefront comes down straight away, the shop closes 30 days later, and you can change your mind any time before then.
Your team
Under Settings → Team, invite people by email. They get an invitation and set their own password. Choose a role for each:
- Admin — full access: everything, including the menu, settings and billing. For a manager or partner.
- Staff — orders only: for the counter and the kitchen. Staff take and manage orders, approve delivery addresses and look customers up. They can see the menu, offers and reports but can't change them, or any settings.
The person who signed the shop up is its owner. From the members list you can Resend invite to someone who hasn't accepted yet, or Send reset to email a password reset to someone who is locked out.
Billing
Account → Billing shows your plan and what it costs:
- Any free period you're in (the beta, or a postcard or referral offer) and when it ends. Nothing is charged before then, and we'll email you well before anything changes.
- This month so far: your order value, the platform commission it comes to, and the monthly fee.
- A comparison of the plans at this month's volume, so you can see which would cost you least. It says so when you'd save money on another plan.
- Open billing portal to update your card or download invoices from Stripe.
Card fees on your customers' payments are Stripe's, charged in your own Stripe account (see Connecting Stripe).
Activity
Settings → Activity is a record of who changed what: a price, a setting, a cancelled order. Every change is listed, with when and who. Looking at a page isn't a change, so it isn't recorded. Only owners and admins can see it. Filter by person to see what one member of the team has done.
