Sell out before the van leaves.
Pre-orders for your sandwich round. Customers order and pay on your own page before your cut-off, so you make what's sold, load the van and finish empty.
- Every order in before you start making
- Orders for the whole week, from people's own desks
- Drop the bags at reception and drive on
No card. No contract. Set up in about ten minutes.
No more guesswork
Nothing left over. Nobody goes without.
When the orders are in before you set off, you carry exactly what's been bought. The last stop on the round gets what it ordered, the same as the first.
Cut-off times
Every order in before you start making
You set a cut-off for the round. Orders before it are on today's van; after it, they're for the next day you're out.
Customers order to their own office, so each order comes with the address you're taking it to. They can order days ahead, so a regular can do the whole week on a Sunday night.
Repeat business
Exactly what they asked for, every time
Granary not white, extra cheese, no mayo. Customers choose it themselves, so the order is right before you've touched it.
The customer who gets what they want every time keeps coming back. Once they have an account, their usual sits at the top of your menu and goes in the basket in one tap.
Time on the round
Drop at reception and move on
Every bag is labelled with a name, and paid for already if you take payment online, so there's no waiting while people choose and find their change. Leave the orders at reception and drive to the next stop.
How much time that saves depends on how spread out your stops are. In our experience, three or four times as many deliveries in the same lunchtime window is possible.
On Pro, a label prints for each order by itself. It carries the allergens for every item, which helps with Natasha's Law.
Office orders
The office order sorts itself out
Nobody walks the floor with a list and a tin of change. Everyone orders and pays for themselves from their own desk, in their own words.
That means no long order shouted down the phone in a busy kitchen. Approve an office's address once, and the rest of that building is accepted from then on.
Know your customers
See who's drifted, and bring them back
Your customer list shows who has ordered in the last month, and who hasn't been back since.
Send the ones who've drifted a message from the shop, with a voucher attached if you like. It goes to customers who've agreed to hear from you.
The brave step
Go pre-order only, and the round grows.
“You can start slowly with your usual round and carry a few pre-orders along with your usual stock. That's confidence boosting, but the real game changer is when you stop carrying any speculative orders at all.
It feels like a bold step, but in my experience it takes just two weeks for your customers to retrain to pre-ordering. Once you've done that, the real fun starts. Wastage is down to zero, and you no longer have to wait at each stop for people to fumble with their coins.”
And the rest of the round, covered
Cash or card, your call
Choose separately for collection and delivery: online by card, cash, or your card machine. Online payments go straight to your own Stripe account.
A count before you start
With the Pekkish app, a message first thing tells you how many orders and items are due today.
Print the day in one go
Print a day's orders from any browser, on any plan. On Pro, orders print themselves on A4 or as labels.
Your page, your customers
Your own page at your-business.pekkish.co.uk in your colours, with a QR code for the van window. Customers order from you directly.
Running by next week

Photograph your price list and Pekkish reads it into a menu for you to check, or start from the starter menu.
Share your link
Put your page and its QR code on the van, in the office group chats and on a card at every stop.
Load up and go
Orders come in until your cut-off. Make the list, pack the bags, drop and go.
